Standing coat rack or wall coat rack

Before you buy a coat rack, it is wise to know where you are going to place it. You can choose a model that fits the space. You have the choice of a standing coat rack or a wall coat rack. It is important to look at the place where you want to put it. Do you have space for a coat rack on the wall? Then you can choose that or coat hooks.

Do you have more space in the hallway? Then you can also opt for a standing coat rack. This is easy to move and does not leave holes in the wall. Among the standing variants, there are also items with a shelf. This makes it more of a wardrobe rack where you can also place your shoes.

Coat hooks for the wall

The coat hooks are ideal for the wall. With these, you don't have an extensive coat rack, but rather a few points where you can hang your wardrobe. You can hang them symmetrically or playfully across the entire wall. This way, you can create an interesting wall.

The coat hook is also ideal when you have small children. This allows you to use different heights so that the children can hang up their jackets themselves. Even with a standing coat rack, you sometimes have the option to have hooks at the bottom. That could also be an option when you have children.

How to hang the coat rack?

Is there an ideal way to hang a coat rack? No, but we will give you some tips. There are indeed a few things to pay attention to. The height of the item is the most important. When you want to hang a wall coat rack, the ideal height depends on your own height. On average, it hangs at about 170cm high.

The coat rack for children hangs at an average height of 120cm. Due to the large differences between adults and children, the hooks are a good option for your hallway. This way, you can hang a hook based on the height of the family members.
